Elska Magazine

I have been on the Elska team as associate editor since its second issue, and in January 2018 we released our twenty-first print edition. I set the editorial standards for the magazine, including its style guide, and in an ongoing capacity I am responsible for editing all the text features.

Unique in its approach, Elska explores a new city each issue through the personal stories of the queer men who live in them. We introduce our readers to a truly diverse cross-section of the international queer community by visiting cities that aren’t often in the spotlight, and those where living an out-and-proud life isn’t easy.

Each new issue of Elska reminds me how beautiful, funny, moving, and crucial queer stories are.
